Carol Ann Casey is the Independent Adjudicator of the Law Society of Ireland, the only person in Ireland who holds this Statutory office. She provides a personalised outsourced adjudicative service to other professional bodies and organisations. Such bodies include being the Independent Reviewer for a UK public services ombudsman and separately for a chartered professional body in Ireland where she delivers an impartial specialist’s opinion on matters in hand.
Carol Ann holds a university ombudsman qualification and the Law Society’s diploma in judicial skills and decision-making 2017.
Our In-house Independent Adjudication Service helps in the informal resolution of disputes that arise within an organisation. It is delivered in timely manner. Its purpose is that the respective parties’ views are considered and examined confidentially and a decision is made on an independent and impartial basis.
